In 2011, we lost our beloved dog Shadow to a dog food recall. His death was violent and heartbreaking. Our pack of 7 dogs all got sick. After Shadow passed away, we vowed to feed our dogs only human grade food made by us so we could control every ingredient. 

After receiving increased requests to sell to the public, we licensed our chicken product and began our journey to share Shadow's Promise. In 2022, we added our beef recipe. We make and package our product right at home in a separate kitchen designed for Shadow's Promise.

Raw feeding is the fastest growing segment in the dog food industry. We love helping our customers and their fur babies.

We currently live in Oxford, CT  with our pack of  4 dogs.
